Adobe Illustrator 10 Signature Image
I had the honor to illustrate the signature images for both Adobe Illustrator versions 9 and 10, the only two AI signature images featuring Venus that were entirely created in Adobe Illustrator vector graphics. The image for Illustrator 10 shows off some of the features introduced in this version of the program like instances, web slicing, and envelope distortion.
Vector Art - Why Does it Matter?
When there is a need for artwork to be used at multiple sizes, scalability is the main advantage of vector graphics. Because vector graphics are derived from mathematical vector relationships, or relationships between points that create lines and curves, they appear clean and exact at any size. If your package art needs to be used on a poster or billboard, it's the way to go.
